Learn the Game of Golf (Beginner Golf Program)
Are you interested in picking up a new sport this summer? Consider learning golf, a sport you can enjoy for a lifetime. This program offers eight 60-minute lessons with Certified PGA Professional Mark Beran. He will help you overcome any fears or intimidation you may have about starting. You’ll learn what to do when you arrive at the course and how to play without interfering with or bothering other players.
The program will teach each student the following skills:
Basics of Hitting the Golf Ball: This includes grip, stance, alignment, takeaway, and techniques for getting the ball in the air.
Putting Basics: Students will learn how to effectively get the ball into the hole.
Chipping and Pitching Basics: Instruction will cover how to escape from difficult situations, such as sand traps.
Full Swing Basics: Students will gain an understanding of the various clubs in their bag and how to use them.
On-Course Instruction: This will involve learning where to take the cart, where to stand, and what to do while others are hitting.
Course Etiquette and General Rules: Students will learn the meanings of yellow, red, and white stakes, as well as how to ensure they are not holding up other players on the course.
